Individual Coaching

Jacqui offers one to one coaching for individuals that would like a more customised approach.  Over the period of 6-8 weeks Jacqui will work with you to develop your own ‘Mental Strength Plan’ to help you build resilience, decrease stress and improve your focus and concentration.  Individual coaching can also be provided to young people that would like assistance with specific needs.

Public Program

In collaboration with the University of Sydney’s, Centre for Continuing Education, Jacqui now teaches a 3 week mindfulness course at various times throughout the year.  Each lesson runs for 2 hours and during this time you will be provided with many practical tools and tips on how to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life.  For details of upcoming courses you can visit the Centre for Continuing Education.

Why?

:

Greater Wellbeing

Meditation is proven to improve your wellbeing. What does this mean? Your state of wellbeing is strongly linked to happiness and life satisfaction yet so often our wellbeing is overlooked. I believe your wellbeing is made up of 3 areas (1) physical health (2) mental health (3) spiritual health and together we will work to improve all 3 areas so that you can truly flourish.

;

Decrease stress

We all experience stress from time to time. Stress is our natural response to pressure and life’s challenges. However, if stress is not managed it can have long term health implications. Meditation is a great tool for managing stress and literally changes the brain so that we are better equipped to deal with stressful situations. This ultimately gives us an opportunity to respond rather than react and invites a sense of calmness into our daily lives.

:

Increased Self-awareness

Having a good self-awareness can guide us in the right direction. When we become more aware of our thoughts & emotions we can better understand what motivates us and why we act the way we do! Meditation helps us to create a sense of space so that we can develop our self-awareness and also build confidence.

;

Decrease sense of lonliness

We are more connected then ever through technology yet despite this many people struggle with loneliness. In my daily work, I find people are yearning for fulfilling connections & not able to find them, only to discover that the connection they first need to develop is with themselves. Meditation is a great tool to help you develop your capacity to connect with yourself & tune in to a place of stillness and peace.
